Transfer All

The Transfer All payment allows the transfer of all payments for a particular year to another account for the same year. Payments that have been voided will not be transferred. Transfers are not allowed for years that have been rolled over to the Tax Collection System.

The process will not transfer receivables that do not have a related deposit (this occurs in the case of unpaid NSF charges).

User Entitlements

The following user entitlements are used on this screen. They are part of the Make SI Transfer task, which is part of the SI Head Cashier job. See Tasks, Entitlements, and Jobs for more information.

SI_TRANSFER_DEPOSIT: Access to query and open transfer deposits

SI_TRANSFER_CHANGE_DEPDATES: Ability to change deposit and receipt dates when creating a transfer deposit

  1. Double-click Transfer Payment on the Main Menu or select Transfer Payment on the Go To list. .
  2. In the Deposit Control screen, open or re-open a transfer deposit.
  3. Click Transfer Transaction; the Transfer All screen will appear.
  4. If you are carrying an account number from another screen it will appear in the From Account No field (transferring money from) field.  If not, then enter a number in the space provided.

Note:If you do not know the account number, select Account Search in the Go To list. For more information, see Searching for an Account.  Write down or copy the account number, then enter it into the Transfer Payment screen.

  1. Press Tab; the Certified Owner's name for this account will appear.
  2. Enter the account number that the funds are being transferred to, in the To Account No field.
  3. Press Tab; the Certified Owner's name for this account will appear.
  4. In the Applying Year field, the current year is displayed.  Change this if necessary to the year of the payments that you wish to transfer.
  5. Click Apply to complete the transfer.
  6. If the tax units for the two accounts are not identical, you will get a message asking if you still want to process the transfer.  If you do, click Yes. The transfer will be completed.
  7. Choose Account Status from the Go To list and verify that the payment was processed correctly.

The account number for the FROM account should carry over to this screen.  A $0.00 amount appears in all value fields.

  1. Double-click the line containing the month of the payment.  The amounts transferred FROM the account will be negative values.  Click Close to remove the popup window.
  2. Enter the Account Number of the TO account.
  3. Press Tab twice. A summary of payments is displayed.
  4. Double-click the line containing the month of the payment.  The transferred payment will display as a single entry.
