SIT Balance Due Letter - Dallas County / Montgomery County

What it displays:

This prints letters for dealers having a balance still due (unless an account number is entered, in which case a letter is printed even if nothing is owed).  The amount of late penalty applied is determined by the dates of the payments.  Addresses on the letters are taken from the Alternate Address - DBA fields on the Owner Master screen.

Client Preferences

CPA: Enter the tax collector's name and credentials (also uses the description column data for the job title).

User Entitlements

The following user entitlements are available on the Batch Menu. They are part of the Run SI Batch Processes task, which is part of the SI Batch Menu job. See Tasks, Entitlements, and Jobs for more information. Individual reports and processes must be assigned to each user.

To run these letters:

  1. From the Main Menu, click Batch Menu.  The SIT Batch Menu will appear.
  2. Click the SIT Balance Due Letter - Dallas County / Montgomery County line, batch menu no. 12316.  You may need to scroll down to see this.
  3. Press Enter.  The parameter screen for this report will appear.
  4. Enter your tax office's Client ID for ACT 7.
  5. In the Year field, enter the SIT tax year for which you want the letters.
  6. In the Create Note field, enter Y to create notes for each account or N to not do this.
  7. If you entered Y in the Create Note field and you do not want to use the standard default note, enter the desired text in the Note Text field.
  8. (optional) Enter an Account No. to print a single letter for that account. A letter will print even if no balance is due for the account.
  9. (optional) Enter a Minimum Amount. Letters will not be generated for accounts owing less than this amount.
  10. Click Submit Job.
  11. Click OK on the "OK to Submit Job" pop-up screen.
