Creating Portal Users

The Hotel Portal User Admin screen allows users to create new portal users so hotel owners can log into the web site portal. These users can be assigned to hotels on the Hotel Master User Name tab.
Entitlements:
HOTUSERS: View the Hotel Portal User Admin screen.
HOTUSERS_UPDATE: Enable the New Portal User button on the Hotel Portal User Admin screen.
HOTUSER_PIN: Update or create a portal user's PIN. If not granted, the PIN is system-generated.
- Enter 9 in the Select box on the Main Menu, then press Enter; the Hotel Portal Users screen will appear.
- To see all existing portal users, press F8. To search for specific users, press F7, enter a User ID, User Name and/or Name, then press F8.
- To add a new user on the online portal, click New Portal User. A User Info Entry/Edit screen appears.
- A User ID is assigned automatically. Enter a User Name
- If the HOTUSER_PIN entitlement is not granted, the PIN will be system-generated. If the entitlement is granted, enter a PIN of your choice.
- Enter any other information desired.
- Click Save. The PIN will be encrypted automatically.
- Click OK to the confirmation message. You will return to the Portal User Admin screen.
- To edit an existing user, click Edit.
- Make any desired changes.
- Click Save.
- Click OK to the confirmation message. You will return to the Portal User Admin screen.
