The toolbar will carry out most of the functions required by the HOT program. To perform a function, click the desired button or press the associated function key on your keyboard.
The button names, corresponding function keys and related tasks are listed below:

Saves entered information. You must save the changes each time you enter or change any data. |

Shift+F8 |
Prints the information currently showing on the screen. |

Ctrl+Q |
Exits the window or program. The current query must be completed or cancelled and any changes saved before exiting. |

F7 |
Enter Query |

F8 |
Execute Query (for more information see How to Do a Query). |

Cancel Query |

Shift+Up |
Previous record (screen of information) |

Shift+Down |
Next record (screen of information) |

F6 |
Inserts a new, blank record into which information can be entered. |

Shift+F6 |
Deletes the current record. Click this only if you are absolutely sure you want to delete the record. There is no reverse action to restore the record once deleted. |

Protects the current record from being changed or deleted in error. |
