Postcard Receipts

Receipts can be printed as postcard size (4 per page) or as one per page. If the Management Contact name is missing or expired, the owner's name will print on each receipt, along with the management address.
Entitlements:
HOTBATCHMENU: View and run reports and batch processes on the Batch Menu. Each user must also be granted the user security access for each batch menu report or process. This is done in ACT's Tax Collection System.
Client Preferences:
HM_RECEIPT_RETURN_ADDRESS1, HM_RECEIPT_RETURN_ADDRESS2, HM_RECEIPT_RETURN_ADDRESS3: (postcard receipts only): Enter the return address information for postcard receipts. This could be the tax collector and tax office address.
HM_LETTERHEAD_ADDRESS1, HM_LETTERHEAD_ADDRESS2, HM_LETTERHEAD_ADDRESS3, HM_LETTERHEAD_ADDRESS4: Enter the name and address to be printed at the top of each full-page receipt. This could be the tax collector and tax office address.
- Enter 7 in the Select box on the Main Menu, then press Enter or select Batch Menu on the Go To list; the Batch Menu screen will appear.
- Click on the Hotel/Motel Postcard Receipts line, batch menu no. 16101.
- Press Enter. The parameter screen appears.
- The Client ID field should be populated with your ACT Client ID.
- (optional) Enter aDeposit No. for which to print receipts or leave this blank to print all deposits in the deposit date range entered (see below).
- (optional) In the Hotel No. field, enter a specific hotel ID to print a report for that hotel only.
- (optional) Enter an Begin Deposit Date and End Deposit Date to determine which receipts to print. If a Deposit No. is not entered, the date range should be.
- In the Print Postcard Receipts field, enter Y to print postcard receipts (in which case set the printer to print in landscape mode) or N to print full-page receipts.
- Click Submit Report, then click Yes to the confirmation message.
- Click Batch Request to see when the report is finished.
- Click Present Report to view the bills as a .pdf.
