Searching for an Account

If you do not know the hotel number, owner name, or either the hotel or owner address of a HOT account, use the Account Search screen to locate it. You can search by owner or address.

1. Enter 1 in the Select box on the Main Menu, then press Enter, or select Account Search on the Go To list; the Account Search screen will appear.

To search by hotel:

2. Enter a partial or complete hotel number, hotel name, or hotel address in the appropriate field.
3. Press F8 (Execute Query) to see a list of accounts sorted by hotel number. The Active box indicated whether the hotel is still doing business or not. This information is maintained on the Hotel Master screen.
4. To see the owner's name and address for a hotel, highlight that hotel by clicking in that line, then click the Owner tab.

To search by hotel owner:

5. Enter a partial or complete owner number, owner name, or owner address in the appropriate field.
6. Press F8 (Execute Query) to see a list of accounts sorted by owner number.
7. To see the hotels owner by a particular owner, highlight that owner by clicking in that line, then click the Account Search tab.
