Sales Report History

The Sales Report History screen allows users to view any changes made in the Sales Report List screen to previously filed sales reports files. This information is available for each report filed for a specified Hotel ID, year, and period. For each report retrieved, the current values for total receipts, total exemptions and taxable receipts are shown, plus the previous tax (before changes) and the new tax.

For each report, the period, file date, due date, tax rate, total receipts, total exemptions, taxable receipts, and total tax are displayed.

Entitlements:

HOTSALESRPT: View the Sales Report Maintenance and Sales Report History screens.

  1. Enter 10 in the Select box on the Main Menu, then press Enter; the Sales Report Maintenance screen will appear.
  2. If you are carrying a hotel number from another screen it will appear in the Hotel ID field along with any other available data.

If the Hotel ID field is blank, enter a number in the space provided .

If you would like a different ID than the one currently displayed, press F7, key in the new one,

  1. Change the Year if needed. It defaults to the current year.
  2. Press Tab (or F8) to view a list of existing filed reports.
  3. Click in the row for which you want to see the history of report changes.
  4. Click the Report/Tax History tab. Any changes made for that report appear. If the screen is blank, that indicates that no changes were made.
