This report provides information about the adjustments to school districts' frozen levies that have been mandated by the 2007 Texas State legislature (HB5). These adjustments are being made to provide senior citizens with the same tax cut benefits that were made available to taxpayers who do not have frozen levies. A separate process will update the ACT 7 database with the adjusted ceilings. This process will also run as part of supplement/correction loads.
Before running this report, tax rates for 2007 must be entered into ACT 7. If you want to report new improvements for the new year, these should be loaded into the CAD tables. The 2007 frozen account data must also be in the CAD tables. The report assumes that the two preceding years (2005 and 2006) have frozen account data in the production tables.

For each account having a frozen levy in 2005, the following information is given, in addition to the certified owner:
The following user entitlements must be set for each user who needs access to the Batch Menu and Batch Request screens. They are part of the Run Batch Processes task. See Tasks, Entitlements, and Jobs for more information. The user entitlement for each batch menu no. mentioned below must be set to Y for each authorized user. Batch menu nos. default to N when they are added.
BATCH_MENU - access to the Batch Menu to generate the reports.
BATCH_REQUEST - access to the Batch Request screen to see the reports.
